Hitched

The place is bursting with people everywhere!!!! I mean it was like someone said hey, sound the alarm!!! Chikerenma is getting hitched!!!! They all came from different parts of the world each of them exclaiming “I wouldn't miss it for the world!!!”.
 And they are moving to and fro, laden with one form of task or another. Orders were being yelled back and forth across the house amidst the camera men taking snapshots, interviewing the guests and capturing behind the scene moments, and celebration songs blaring through the speakers.
Calls were incessantly pouring into my phone, that I had no choice but to glue it to my power bank.
Trust me, this was more than Fuji House of Commotion, but in a great way because all this preparation is for my wedding today!!!!!
This day that people had waited for on my behalf, Grandma and others had prophesied about it, even I prayed and sowed seeds about my marriage and now that day is finally here!!! Father thank you for honoring your word in my life. Lord I pray that you will grant the desire of every brother and sister who wants to get married. Bless and honour them in Jesus name, Amen
“Chikerenma! Please where are the jewelries for your maid of honour?”
“I'm coming!”. Rolling my eyes, I hurry off to the room to sort that out and get dressed.
“Awwww you look so beautiful!”, “Oh my God, Chikerenma; God truly created you beautiful!”. Different exclamations of appreciation came from all corners of the room. Some eyes actually became teary, and the ladies made serious efforts to hold back their tears because of their made up faces. I look across and there was my twin sister who is my maid of honour looking so stunning that she could actually pass off as the bride. Tears well up in our eyes at the sight of each other. We have been through thick and thin, and finally we are here.
I slowly make a 360 degree turn all the while my mind wondering what I look like. If my twin sister looks that breath-taking, then I wonder....
I stop in front of the full length mirror and I could not believe my eyes. I look like Cinderella out of a fairytale, only this is real. Heck, looking at myself, I am blown away. What would he do when he sees me?
I make my way to the double volume lounge with a mezzanine floor out looking the Lounge, and there he was standing with his back towards me. I stood there looking down at him, asking myself if this is a dream or it is all happening in real life?
He must have sensed someone was looking at him cos he suddenly turned around looking straight up at me giving me the most breathtaking smile ever and my heart did a triple full flip.
He is a well built young man with a chest and his heart figuratively and literally big enough for me and mine. He has beautiful honey brown eyes that pierce deep down my soul and curly hair that I like so much. I had always liked chocolate skinned men, but his caramel skin was surprisingly fine by me.
Tears ran down my face in gratitude to God for this fine young man who in an hour or less will become my husband. I did not care about ruining my makeup, I just was in awe of what God has done for me.

I smile back at him and the naughty part of me sang “Oh tonight is the night for feeling alright and we'll be making....... So I'm saving all my love for you!!!!!”
I wake up and it was all a dream that felt so real. Dreams come true so I receive it in the name of Jesus!!!!
